On Sunday OBWCC hosted their first intra-club friendly for our women's section in all age groups. Our U11 "Blazers" girls side were mixed with our senior ladies team and the combined sides played out a close game with 132 proving enough to hold off 101 reached in reply.
There was plenty of runs from everyone involved but particularly Amy, Jazz and Claudia with Zoe, Rae and Lucy also hitting some powerful shots. Millie, Addy and Izzy were very impressive with the ball really showcasing the talents that took the Blazers to finals day.
The quality on show was amazing from both groups but notable the youth who we can't wait to be eligible to play senior ladies cricket where their talents will shine!
A great day was had by all and we are really excited as a club for the development of women's section and look forward to everyone going from strength to strength!
