Men's Saturday Cricket
1st XI vs Midsomer Norton 2010
We have four men's teams playing league cricket every Saturday throughout the summer.
The 1st and 2nd XIs play in the top league in the South West area - the West of England Premier Cricket League (WEPL): our 1st XI play in the Bristol & Somerset division, finishing 4th in 2010 and 8th in 2011. Our 2nd XI finished 5th in the equivalent 2nd XI competition.
The 3rd XI play in Division 2 of the North Somerset Cricket League (NSCL) and finished 7th in 2011. The 4th XI are a rapidly improving side playing in North Somerset League Division 4 and will be looking for a top half position at the end of next season.
Sunday Cricket
As usual, the 1st XI will be entering the ECB National Club Championship and the local 20-20 competition.
The Sunday 2nd XI provides an opportunity for youngsters to gain experience of adult cricket, with a 40 overs a side league match every week in the North Somerset Sunday Conference. We don't do mid table mediocrity: promoted in 2008 and 2009, relegated in 2010, Div 3 winners in 2011 so back to Division 2 in 2012.
