Club stalwart and former 1st XI regular Simon Pratt has taken over as the captain of our 2nd XI ahead of the 2023 season.
Simon is a left arm seamer who has taken almost 150 wickets for the club since his return in 2014 and his experience is sure to benefit the younger players coming through the ranks.
He takes over from Dan Langan who has successfully led the side since the middle of the 2019 season. Dan has overseen the progression of a number of players into the 1st team including Ollie Harris and Charlie Collar, and the Club would like to place its thanks to Dan on record for his efforts over the last 3 and a half years.
