Team news - 5 & 6 September

Saturday sees the 1st XI WEPL Covid Group come to a conclusion as Stu Mac’s side make the short trip down the road to local rivals Bristol, a game which will see yet another youth product, Alfie Newton, make his 1st team debut.

Dan Langan’s 2nd XI, fresh from missing out on their B&D Pod victory by a single point to Long Ashton, travel to their Pod winners in a friendly seeking some sort of vengence for the rained-off game that (result dependent, of course!) could well have cost them the title.

A combined 3rd and 4th XI will take on a similarly-mixed Golden Hill side at Fortress Failand, also in a friendly affair.

Then on Sunday, Ben Harris’ side head across to Bradley Stoke to take on the North Somerset Cricket League East Divsion champions on their home turf.

Best of luck to everyone taking the field this weekend!
