Team news - 29 August

This weekend sees the conclusion of the Bristol & District COVID groups for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th XIs – with all three sides currently sitting in second place in their respective divisions.

The WEPL competition has two more weeks to go, and the 1st XI will be looking for a couple of positive results on which to end their campaign.

The 4 sides taking to the field to represent us tomorrow are shown below. The best of luck to everyone playing!

@ZoravarSingh18 Hell of a shift today from them. Fair play. They didn’t even need the street fighter that is Jadeja to help today. Brilliant.

Cheers to 2020 but you’re ‘OUT’ - a HUGE welcome to 2021 to our members, sponsors @ISWUK , local clubs and friends! Wishing you all a super 2021 - may you not take quite as many wickets, score quite as many runs or catch quite as many catches as us... #CheersAll #HappyNewYear https://t.co/shonWfTTQE OBWCC photo

It would also be remiss of us not to wish the @SomersetCCC legend @Trescricket a VERY happy birthday! A true hero of, not only the game and West Country cricket, but of @KCCNewsDesk #HappyBirthdayBanger #PlentyOfPigsInBlanketsForYouShag
