Women's Cricket
OBWCC Women's XI 2007
The OBWCC Women's team is well established. In the 2009 season we played league cricket in Gloucestershire and friendly matches against various teams in Somerset as well as an 8-aside tournament in Weston super Mare.
During this off season we are also playing indoor cricket at Action Indoor Sports on Friday evenings. This is faster paced version of the game and helps to keep our skill levels up over the winter.
Our winter net practice sessions will run at Bristol Grammar School from 7.30pm on Sunday evenings from 17th January 2010 until Easter.
Our summer matches last up to 35 overs per team and take place on Sunday afternoons. Training takes place on Thursdays evenings throughout the summer at the ground.
The team is open to girls and women of all abilities and experience. Players in our team have a wide range of abilities and we aim to have fun whilst improving our cricket. No experience is necessary to join the club.
