Youth Cricket at OBWCC
The Club runs a highly successful Youth section and organises Cricket for 7-year-olds up to Under-17s. A season rarely passes without significant success in either league or cup competitions.
In 2010 the U15 squad won their division of the league and were undefeated. They also reached (though sadly lost with a depleted team) the KO cup final. Many of the squad were invited to trials with either Glos/Somerset, played represenatative cricket or were involved in senior matches. Winter Nets
Winter youth nets will be taking place at Bristol Grammar School sports hall (Elmdale Road) commencing Sunday 15th January for 12 weeks until 1st April.
Alex Harris will be running these sessions, with the aid of a number of other coaches.
1-2pm - U9's
2-3pm - U11's & U13's
The cost for the 12 weeks will be £30. Alex will sort money out when the sessions start. Please simply turn-up on the day, & extend the invitation to anyone that is interested in cricket & joining the club.
U15's and U17's are invited to net with the senior club at the same place on Sundays 7.30-9pm (£2 per session).
